Enroll Your Child in the Best Age-Specific Kids Martial Arts Classes in New York City

Expose your child to a variety of challenging drills, skills, and athletic conditioning. We proudly offer students on the Upper West Side an exceptional experience in every class, designed for all experience levels and abilities.

Mini & Little Ninjas (Age 3 to 7)

Each class is broken down by age range starting with our Mini Ninjas program for ages 3 to 4 years old. As our kids get older, they move into the Little Ninjas program from ages 5 to 7. The mini and little ninjas program is our entry-level program and focuses on child development while learning discipline, developing gross motor skills, and learning martial arts.

Starting at Ages  3 and Up

Beginner | Intermediate | Advanced Students

As students either move from the little ninjas program or join as a 7 year old, they will start their journey to black belt beginning with our kids basic program. After moving from the kids basic program, students will move up to the  intermediate and later advanced classes. There are opportunities for leadership and competition team participation.to compete in tournaments.

Mini Ninjas (Ages 3 to 4)

Our most basic class for the little ones. This class introduces basic athletic conditioning and promotes character skills like communication, teamwork, and focus.

  • This program allows your child to attend class between 1 to 3 times per week.
  • The curriculum for this age group focuses on the development of self-control, discipline, coordination, and gaining courage. The Mini Ninjas begin working a foundation in the arts of boxing, kickboxing, Jujitsu, & Self-Defense.

Class Run Down

  • 30 min class
  • Bow-in / warm-up
  • Focus talk
  • Run / athletic conditioning, obstacle courses, and logical brain games.
  • Drill for skills (Learn a technique)
  • Bow-out / announcements. 
Little Ninjas (Ages 5 to 7)

As our Mini Ninjas get older and move into the Little Ninjas program we present the students with a different challenge. They begin to gain a better understanding of their martial arts training a are introduced to more techniques and challenges.

  • This program allows your child to attend class between 1 to 3 times per week.
  • The curriculum for this age group focuses on the development of self-control, discipline, coordination, and gaining courage. The Little Ninjas continue working a foundation in the arts of boxing, Kickboxing, Jujitsu & self-defense.

 

Kids Basic (Ages 7 & 12)

Students moving up from our Little Ninjas program or starting new, now begin the martial arts journey to Black Belt.

As a beginner, the students are building a stronger foundation to prepare to move into the intermediate class.

  • This class is 45 Min.
  • Students have to show what they know to be promoted to the next belt in this age group.
  • Beginner belts are White, Yellow and Orange Belt. Students wear a white uniform signify the beginning of training.
  • This program allows beginners to attend class between 1 to 3 times per week. We recommend 2 times per week at this stage.
  • The training for this program include getting a solid foundation of Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing and self-defense.
  • Belt promotions for this age group typically happen every 3 to 4 months.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Kids Intermediate | Advanced

Students moving up from our Kids Basic program will move into the intermediate class. Age range for this group ranges from 9 and up.

  • This is a 45 Min. class
  • Belt ranks for this class are Purple, Blue Green.
  • Intermediate students learn new skills and techniques as well as begin to learn how to use the skills they learns as a beginner through sparring. (Simulated fighting drills)
  • This program allows your child to attend class between 3 to 4 times per week. We recommend 4 times per week.
  • Disciplines for this class include Mauy Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing and Krav-Maga.
  • Belt promotions for the ranks of purple and blue usually range happen every 3 to 4 months. Green belt promotions happen every 6 to 12 months, depending on the students participation and level of progression.
Teens

Students moving up from our Little Ninjas program or starting new now begin the martial arts journey to Black Belt.

As a beginner, our students begin with traditional training to build a solid foundation.

  • This program allows your child to attend class between 1 to 3 times per week. We recommened 2 times per week.
  • The curriculum for this age group focuses on the development of self-control, discipline, coordination, and gaining courage.
  • The basic program participants are now on the track for earning their black belt. Disciplines for this class include Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing and Krav-Maga.
Black Belt Class

Students moving up from our Little Ninjas program or starting new now begin the martial arts journey to Black Belt.

As a beginner, our students begin with traditional training to build a solid foundation.

  • This program allows your child to attend class between 1 to 3 times per week. We recommened 2 times per week.
  • The curriculum for this age group focuses on the development of self-control, discipline, coordination, and gaining courage.
  • The basic program participants are now on the track for earning their black belt. Disciplines for this class include Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing and Krav-Maga.
